CLASSIC + CHIC SPRING KITCHEN DECOR

It’s finally here! Today I’m sharing my spring kitchen decor and I’m loving how it turned out. What’s new this spring? More blue and white, of course! Layers of faux florals and touches of green that bring in color and vibrancy.

Our spring kitchen last year also showcased blue and white with faux flowers, but in a cleaner and more subdued look.

This year’s styling is a little more layered for a collected and homey feel. Come and take the tour with me and tell me what you think!

SPRING KITCHEN DECORATING IDEAS

With spring, comes color and newness and I wanted to bring that feeling into our spring kitchen decor.

I’ve been using the same blue area rug in here since I bought it for last fall’s kitchen decor, and the punch of color it brings to this space is incredible.

It reflects onto our black island, giving it a slightly blueish hue, which I really love.I also layered many blue pieces throughout the space for a fresh and vibrant spring look.

A collection of pretty things on our island creates a beautiful statement – more details on this pretty moment down.

SPRING DECORATING AROUND OUR RANGE

I always love to style and create symmetry around our range with something substantial and my white ginger jars are the perfect pieces for a pretty focal point.I love layering my jars with blue and white pieces for some added color.

These blue and white ginger jars are my favorite, they were my mother’s and I’ve coveted them for so many years.

She finally let me bring them home last year to add to my own collection.

They’re near and dear to my heart and will always keep her close to me…

I love to add layers of faux hydrangeas to bring in some prettiness, I’ve been using faux florals for so many years.

They last forever! I never get tired of them.
I love to collect and layer kitchen towels too, it’s an inexpensive way to add color or pattern to your kitchen.

A BEAUTIFUL SPRING KITCHEN VIGNETTE

I love this view! It captures all of my spring details at once.

Our kitchen island typically features ginger jars and vases styled on a tray, and I love to layer in pretty dishes and linens too.I bought these beautiful monogramed vases/candleholders that I absolutely love.

They’re perfect with some pretty roses.

My woven tray was a lucky find last year, I love how it looks on our island, it’s the perfect natural element to layer with.

I finished off my display with blue and white pieces and faux green apples for even more added color.

I love the chic look!

STYLING OUR SINK AND BUILT-IN SHELVES

I was so excited when I found these hydrangeas at the grocery store – yes they’re real and still alive!

Soon they’ll go outside, hopefully they’ll survive! My favorite blue and white champagne buckets, hold them so beautifully by our sink, don’t you think?

Our new blue and white soap dispenser is so pretty and compliments everything perfectly.

I’ve been searching for one for so long!

Little moments like this make me happy…

Let’s talk shelves!

More blue and white pieces styled with a dose of symmetry, my monogrammed ginger jars, layered chinoiserie artwork, touches  of green…

It all brings this side of our kitchen to life.

Another new and favorite piece – my gorgeous, vintage blue and white platter.

I borrowed this one from our parents’  home. It holds a lot of sentimentality and is so gorgeous here. I think one of my sisters may want it though…at least I have it in pictures!

Our blue rug grounds everything and helps to pull my spring kitchen decor together.

I almost swapped it for something else, I’m really happy I didn’t!

We built our home almost twelve years ago, and although there are a lot of updates I’d love to make in here, I still do love it.

I dream of a new range hood (this one is starting to yellow) and glass fronted, counter-to-ceiling cabinets on each side.

Two things I’ve been dreaming of for years. Oh, and a marble backsplash!

Big dreams, I know. It may have to wait.

For now, I can still appreciate our kitchen/my home office.

I work at this island every day, did you know?

But exciting news!

Soon, I’ll be taking over our son’s bedroom (he’s moving to the basement) and creating my own office! Woohoo!!!! I’m sooooo excited. Stay tuned for updates!

I’ll be sharing my design board and plans for my home office soon!Thank you, as always, for touring with me today. I hope you loved our spring kitchen decor and were able to find some inspiration. Tell me what you think below! Happy Weekend! xo
